Leadership Skills

Eugene always instructed us to do things on his own way. Daddy praise Eugene is 'born Leaders'. I firmly believed that nowadays most children are born with leadership skills, and what you actually affect through teaching, is what they will grow to be.

Every morning once Eugene woke up, he will request us to bring him out of bedroom. Eugene:'Outside, outside...open open' (asking to open the door to let him go out) :0)
After we brought him out of our bedroom, he will ask us to bring him to praying room by saying '请请....请请'. Then he will request us to bring him to the downstairs. Eugene:'下楼...下楼...‘
While we are at the living room, Eugene will request to switch on his video by saying 'open, open...'
We would like to help Eugene to develop his Leadership skills. Communicate effectively is one of the key leadership traits. "Good leaders are good communicators". So we always teach Eugene to say what he mean or communicate clearly before we fulfill his request.

We encourage Eugene to read books then by asking question and expecting answers from him. Sometime, we giving him responsibilities and motivate him that he can handle. ie. ask him to get his own shoes if he want to go out for walk walk. Certainly, we also encourage him to be more independence but we will also assist him if he needs help.

Eugene is improving his leadership skill by interacting with us;
- He will instruct us to dance together with him when his favorite music is playing.
- He will lead us to the way where he wanted to go.
- He will request us to follow his step to get the job done.
