Kuala Lumpur Trip - Day 3

BACKDATED POST - 14/06/09, Sunday

As usual Gene woke up at 610am early morning. But everyone still in their sweet dream. No choice, I have to played with him and lullaby him to sleep again at 7am.

Good Morning Everyone. Im busy doing 'rock n roll' exercise on the bed.

Mother-in-law was concerned about Gene already 2 days never take the solid food. So we bought a big portion of "Mash Potatoes" from KFC. Gene still doesn't know how to taste it and unfortunate the 'Mash Potatoes" was stuck at his lung.....Oh gosh, he was coughed out till his face turned red. Oppsss....My Pity Gene. We have no other choice already so we gave him milk again for his lunch.

We did our shopping at the "Carrefour". After that, we went to "Toys R us" again as we wanted to buy a present for Joern. What a surprise again from "Toys R Us", they organized a function called "Meet Transformers Optimus Prime Mascot Appearance". We met 2 Transformers outside the store.

Gene was so queried about these 2 "Giant Mans" - Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime. 1st photo: He attempted to scratch the Bumble Bee's face. 2nd photo: He tried to pull Optimus Prime away.

Inside the store, there is a Fisher Price's "Rainforest Jumperoo" display at the stage. We let Gene tried out this Rainforest Jumperoo. This jumper was so amazing features a spining seat, toys around the rainforest with wonderful sights and sounds.

Gene: "Daddy. I am really enjoys this soft and safe spring jumping fun!

Finally, we bought a Fisher Price's "Go baby Go! Bounce & Spin Zebra" for Joern's 1st birthday present. After that, we had our lunch at a Chinese Restaurant where just near beside our hotel. We checked out at 1pm and Kevin attended his exam at 2pm.

We continued our shopping at the Mid-Valley while waiting Daddy.

Gene: " Mummy, came and join us the ride."

Let watch how's Gene moving, jumping and spining in the jumper.

They were headed back to Ipoh about 430pm. Bye bye Eugene ***A Big Good Bye KISS***. Mummy will miss you like crazy and see you again next Friday.

Kuala Lumpur Trip - Day 2

BACKDATED POST - 13/06/09, Saturday

Although Gene was slept quit late about 1030pm yesterday but he still woke up at 615am in the early morning -_-. So I have played with him until 7am and lullaby him to sleep again until 830am.

GOOD Morning!! I got a sweet dream yesterday. :0)

However, we just spent our half day in the hotel till Kevin finished his exam at 12pm.

Gene: "Mummy, am I look handsome? I am ready to go out."

We went to "Toys R us" to shops the presents for "Joern and Tiffy 1st birthday". We have managed to buy a 'V-tech' education toys for Tiffy 1st birthday present. Gene was really happy with playing the toys and has lots of fun there!

Eh...Lets came to have a horse racing. Kekeke.....

Wow....lots of toy here!!! I love this place every much.

Hey...Ah Moi nak tumpang my car?

Excuse me x2......please don't block my road!!! I am enjoying my driving.

We had our lunch together with Wei Hou's family at the Garden - 逢莱小食馆。

Gene: "Hai! 'Liang Lui'. What's your name? My name is Eugene. Can we be a friend?" Tiffy was so shy at that time.

After the lunch, we drove to the IKANO, Damansara. Ikano Power Center was holding a bird exhibition. What a surprise to see such a huge bird cage at the atrium. There was this bird cage with all the parrots, owl and assorted birds for everyone to see.

This section was the free roaming area. When people can step into the cage and mingle with the birds.

Gene: Dee...There is lots giant bird birds. Can see that?

Gene: Daddy...why the bird bird here are different what i saw at house?

We had stroll over to the adjoining "The Curve" shopping mall and stopped by "Starbucks" enjoyed cup of coffee.

After we took a rest at "Starbucks Coffee", we returned back to Ikano to continue our shopping there. We went to a Pet's shop.

Daddy: Gene, this is a night owl. The owl is sleep at day time. Gene: Dee...the fishes are swimming inside the aqurium.

Daddy: "Gene, can you see "Hamsters"? Gene: "Bye bye Mummy, I want to drive this car to 'kai kai' lor."

Then we moved over to our 2nd destination - IKEA.

I am a "Speed Racer - 买鸡输卖鸡". Gene: "My 1st time ride on trolley."

Gene: Daddy, Please move the trolley faster, Please turn left then turn right then go straight....Hahaha..I am enjoying the ride!

We were headed back to our hotel about 9pm. We were really tired after the whole day shopping. So we just had a quick dinner and we ate "1091 Hotdogs" for our dinner.

Finally, we back to the hotel room. It was a tired day for me.

The little chicks are so cutie!!!

Kuala Lumpur Trip - Day 1

BACKDATED POST - 12/06/09, Friday

Since Kevin need to attend his 2 days CFP's exam in UM this weekend. So we decided to bring Gene along and spend our weekend in KL. Everything has been well planned - we have booked 2 nights stay at CITITEL Hotel, Mid-Valley and I have prepared and packed Gene's stuff one week early.

Kevin started their journey from Ipoh about 4pm and they are expected to reach KL about 6pm. I was waited Kevin to pick me up at my auntie's house after work. Gosh.....天不作美, it was heavy rain at KL at 5 something. "Sei For Lor....it must be a terrible jam in KL area due to the heavy rain." I am like a 热窝上的蚂蚁 so worried about the Gene can't stand long in the car anymore. They have been trapped in the jam about 2 hours. Finally, they reached my auntie's house at 7.40pm.

We straight toward to hotel after picked me up. We checked in the room and quickly gave a bath to Gene. After that, we follow to have our dinner.

Yeah....Gene gained lots of his first experiences at this trip (乡下佬出县 :P） --> 1st time to visit KL. --> 1st time to travel such a long distance trip about 200km. -->1st time ride on the car for about 4 hours long (due to traffic jam in KL). --> 1st time to stay at hotel. --> 1st time to take bath at the basin (due to our hotel room doesn’t have the bath tub). --> 1st time to sleep at 10pm (normally his sleep time is at 7pm). --> 1st time to explore himself in the crowded environment. --> 1st time to see lots of high buildings and large tower blocks. --> 1st time.....etc.

Let’s go to search some food to feed our stomach.

Gene: "Daddy, what we are going to have for our dinner?"

We had our dinner at "Mid-Valley Food Junction". After dinner, we wanted to buy some bread for our breakfast tomorrow morning so we went to Jaya Jusco's Market section to get some breads. We have bought a so called "Japanese's Bun" and the bun costed RM18 per bag. The bun really tasted GOOD. Gene likes it so much.

Wow....this bed is so comfortable to me!!

We headed back to our hotel about 10pm. See!....Gene can last till 10pm today. "OK lar...Gene is time to sleep liao, Good night, Sweetheart".

家中的"小霸王"

不必猜他是谁？ 对了， 对了。 就是他， 就是他 === 〉"马裕晋小朋友"。

一张白里透红的脸蛋， 一双水灵灵的大眼睛， 一个圆圆的大鼻子， 那红红的大嘴。 别看他可爱的样子， 可脾性却实在有点霸道。

人小小就会欺负别人， 他有一把"绝招"就是放声大叫， 大哭！！ -_- "Gene, 你'哭包'的样子丑丑！"

他要风得风， 要雨得雨。哎哟！这孩子给你们宠坏了。

爹地说："我只有他一个宝贝，就顺他意吧！"

嬷嬷说："如果不听话， 长大了就要打。既然他现在还小，就顺他意吧！"

妈咪说："我一个星期才和他相处两天，就顺他意吧！"

婆太， 公公， 婆婆， 姨姨和舅舅都说："他在家中最小的，就顺他意吧！"

哼！大家都顺我意， 我就是家中的"小霸王"。***wink***

如果他顽皮的时候， 妈咪就会骂他："坏蛋虫或 臭蛋"。Eugene虽然霸道，但当他乖巧时他却是一个天真活泼， 惹人喜爱的小孩子。

Mr. Bubble KING

"Dang, dang, dang, dang.....Welcome to our certified Bubble King. "

For the last week my little guy has been blowing spit bubbles on his mouth. ***lol*** He has been doing it non-stop until his shirt soaked. Mummy scolds him for being a naughty boy but he thinks it's funny. :p "Yauk....Geney, you are soooo disgusting......"

Departure Checklist

I was recalled from the first time we brought Gene out for shopping in Ipoh Parade. While we were enjoying our shopping and Gene was "ngek, ngek, ngek..." make noise there then I checked the time. “Opss.....His milk time ler. "Sei for lor"...no more milk powder for him"...I suppose to know to adjust his feeding time and need to prepare at least 2~3 feeds for him but I didn’t. He was cried out loudly. "Sorry Gene, it was Mummy fault.” :-(
So I have learned from this experience and I am more aware now to make sure my little ones have everything he needs before we depart from our house to our destination. So I have to prepare and go through this 'Departure Checklist' if we want to bring Gene 'Kai Kai'. :p

Here is the Checklist:-

Eugene is getting better!!!

Eugene is feeling much better but he still having a little cough and can hear the sound of the phlegm. We still continue to feed him the Chinese medicine, "冬虫草散" to reduce the phlegm. However, his appetite is back to normal. He finished his 6oz of milk in the morning and had porridge for his lunch and dinner. Yeah....***crossing fingers***

Anyway, as long he is getting better, I am already very happy and contented. Just hope he can finally recover by this weekend then we can bring him out for shopping. We have been stayed a home for 3 weekends already....

Books Fair Sales

Last Saturday, Popular Ipoh has organized a books fair sale up to 90% at Yuk Choy School. Initially, we were planning to bring along Eugene to shops some story books collection for him after our dinner. Finally, Eugene was not managed to join us because he got an appointment with “Mr. Chou Gong” at 7pm. ** :0) ZZzzz..... **

We bought plenty of books as shown in the picture. All the books here only cost us RM105.
