Day Trip to Cameron Highland

Cameron Highland again! We were having a one day trip to Cameron Highland. The main purpose of the trip is because of Frequencee Creative has got an advertisement job from a strawberry farm. Therefore, all Frequencee's employees (Weng Yee, Au Yong and Tina) were joined the trip also. They would like to visit the strawberry farm to capture some photos of uses in the advertisement.

We depart from Simpang Pulai at 930am and arrive at Brinchang around 1045am. We called up the Strawberry Farm Owner, Uncle Seng to bring us to his Strawberry Farm. Uncle Seng drove us up to the top of the Strawberry Farm with his Hilux since that our sedan is unable to reach the farm due to the narrow road.
Nowadays, strawberries are grown hydroponically. This is a method of growing strawberries without soils. It is grown on raised trays fed by water containing the essential nutrients for the strawberries. Everyone was have fun time plucking strawberries and we are pick those bigger in size and try to get those sweeter ones. However, the strawberries are not as sweet as those grown overseas. :0)

We went for charcoal steamboat as our lunch at the 'Water Cress Valley' about 2pm. This is a self-service restaurant, we need to take whatever food (vegetable, meat, fish ball, Prawns, Mee and etc) from the counter, collect your plates and chili sauce except lighting up the fire, of course. We visited the watercress farm after our lunch.

It was almost evening; the weather was getting freezing cold. Eugene caught a cold on this trip. Our last stop at 118 store at Kampung Raja. We bought some juicy sweet corns.

Our trip ends around 5pm. That was a nice trip and we do enjoy it much!
