Yummy Yummy Biscuit

Recently, Kevin likes to buy the baby rice biscuit for Gene. The reason why is he want to keep Gene quite while on the way he fetch Gene home every evening. :0(
Because nowadays Gene is naughty enough as he doesn't want to sit on his car seat where we want to wear him the seat belt tightly.
In order to solve this problem, Kevin will give him a biscuit when he is on his car seat. So he will enjoy his biscuit and no bother to others. Hmn...smart daddy got his own method.
However, daddy complained that Gene can finish his biscuit within 5mins. -_- Hahaha....

My 1st and 2nd Tooth!

Eugene has got his bottom 1st and 2nd teeth at his 7 months old. Gosh....no wonder Gene so bad mood and irritability this few weeks. It's just because the pain and discomfort of teething. Pity Gene....

However, Gene is a little bit behind If we compare the Teething milestone chart as shown below. Gene Hurry up!!!!

Peek-A-Boo Fun

Harlo Gene Gene.....Gene Gene Peek-A-Boo....We try to hide partially behind a chair or couch or around a corner and slowly reveal our hide, Harlo Gene Gene 'jark'..... He will laugh and squeal with great joy!!!
Eugene likes Peek-A-Boo game!!
Kiat Jie has bought Gene two "My Peekapoo Fun" board books. These book are truly magical: on alternating two-page spreads, the words "Peek A" are repeated, opposite an illustracted page with a die-cut- hole, behind which lurks a cow...."MOOooo".

Gene is enjoying to read the book and trying to grip the hole to turn the pages for answer.

Tumble Man

Gene is 7 months 1 week and 3 days old now but he still unable to sit on his own. He can only stay sitting up for nano second before he staightens out his legs and topples over like a 不倒翁. Hahaha....Lets watch the funny movie of him.

Gene prefers to stand rather than sit! I was wondering that he would skip crawling and attempt to walk instead. -_-

我的Benz史-Pass "P" Licence

苦练了几个星期，Gene 总于获得他的Pass "P" Licence 了。现在的驾驶速度是5KM/J，驾驶距离由客厅到厨房然后由厨房到客厅。。。在客厅停留一下 - 拉拉窗帘，撞撞沙发，抓抓桌上的东西。。。然后再到厨房停留一下 - 碰碰垃圾桶，拉拉水喉，撞撞冰柜，开开厨房的抽屉。。。：0（ Gene, you are so GENG ler...

哎哟。。。宝贝Gene这个不可以玩的咯！！Mummy现在有点后悔当初让Gene学会驾他的Benz史了。这个Mummy到底要怎样呢？ :0)

This is one of Gene's activities during his playtime. It is fun to watch his amazement as he has reached his milestone to discover his toes and spend time sucking them.

安全第一

Safety is important to us. We used to practise to let Gene sit on his car seat, wear him the seat belts and ensure he is properly safeguarded before we start our journey. But Gene is getting smarter now as he doesn't want to be seated on his car seat anymore...He want to explore himself with the outside view from the window.

Gene, don't be so 'Gei Poh' lar...You must wear your seat belts if not 'Ma Da - policeman' saman you lerr...-_-

I follow the rule wearing the seat belt for every ride. Daddy said I am a good boy.

Daddy, this car seat is more comfortable.

姨姨在Gene满月时送他一辆Benz史。五个月后，现在终于适用啦！

1st Solid Food

First Solid Food

An exciting milestone has arrived - Its time to give Eugene's first foods!!

We bought the Heinz's baby 1st solid food for Gene when he was 6 months old....There are variety of favorite likes carrots, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes and wax beans.

嬷嬷's Homemade Porridge

嬷嬷 always disagreed we feed Gene the ready made baby food. And complaint about that the food is not healthy lar....no nutrition lar...

So 嬷嬷, it's time to put on your chef's hat and get cooking homemade porridge. :O)

嬷嬷's homemade Porridge recipes:

Brown Rice, Anchovies, carrot, broccoli, sweet potatoes and tomatoes.

Eugene has his porridge (5 soupspoons of porridge each time) twice a day - lunch (12pm) and early dinner (5pm).

Come Gene....Aarrr....open your mouth. Mummy give you 好吃的粥粥。

Happy or Angry?

We are not so sure that Gene was expressed himself whether in a Merry or Gloomy Mood. Or else we assume that he was just being too excited to be on video!! Let us know what you think after watch the video. :o)

口水多过茶

Gene started to produce lots of saliva when he was 2 months old. Why Gene drooling a lot? Is it a sign of teething? After 1 month.....2 months....3 months...till now Gene is 7 months old already, still not a single tooth seen....
Nowadays, Gene likes to blowing bubbles and drools all over the place. :o( However, everything he does is cute though.....

远方表姐访

We have been waiting so long for this day since our Khoon表姐 announced she want to coming back to Malaysia for holiday together with her family - her husband and baby Giselle.
Today we have been meeting up with Gene's 表姐, Giselle where she flew back long way from Italy to Malaysia.
Giselle is cute like a Japanese doll and one year old now. Haha...I didn't manage to capture any pics of Giselle together with Gene.
We went for reunion dinner at the 'Mung Jung Restaurant'.

Playgym Time

This playgym is present by Eugene's 姑姑。Eugene has his fun time while playing with this playgym mat. Eugene like to shows his interest and excitement by kicking the music paddle meanwhile the twinkling lights 'dance' in time with the music and some more there are toys hanging from the top included his 小朋友 Wayne, Julia and Patrick...lots of FUN!

Gene was happily playing with his playgym but Mummy distracted him with her camera.

Merry Christmas '08

25 December 2008 - Jingle bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way....

We have the Christmas tree decorated a week before the Christmas. Geney, Let Mummy show you what is Christmas Tree? Huh...Can you see lighted Christmas tress with varieties of ornaments such as apples, ribbons, bells, presents and baubles hanging on the Christmas tree!!!

On the Christmas Eve, we are attended a Silent Night dinner together with our cousins at 'Fah Kee Restaurant'. Eugene only managed to stand for one dish before he drifted to dreamland. I hope Gene will be able to join us longer next time....Cheers!

Oversized CNY wear '09

26th Jan 2009 - Today is 年初一，I was so excited and can't wait to dressed up Eugene today. In the early morning, I showed out all Gene's clothes from the cabinet and let Gene tried on one by one.
Hmn....Lets try it out this 皇帝装 where presented by 表嫂。Oh...too big lar....
I guess it is the smallest size but it's still too big for Gene. I doubt Gene will be able to fit in on next Lunar New Year. :0)

We are noticed that Eugene can focus on the colourful lights when he was 2 months old.
We did some decoration with red lantern lighting in front of our house during Chinese New Year. Our gene is very smart as he will show you the way when you ask him : 'Where is红红的灯？'

Kevin has checked out on the newspaper there is a lighting festival held by 白衣观音庙. So he has decided to bring Gene Gene to watch the lighting...

Poo Poo Time

外婆 had trained up Eugene to do his business by using potty since he born. So he has already used to poo poo into potty and he will sounds....Ng, ng, ng....and show his red face to you when he wanna to poo. Eugene now has a practise to poo around 10am daily. Eugene has never poo into his diaper now.
