Powerful of Lolipop

You just need to show out your Lollipop. If you ask him to sit, he will sit down immediately. If you ask him to stand, he will stand up quickly. Can you see the powerful of Lollipop?...muahahaha.....

I was so strict about Eugene's diet and do not allow him to take any sweets. But daddy breaks my rule and treats Eugene Lollipop. That’s why he loves his daddy every much... :0( Once he saw the Lollipop, he will ask for it non-stop :"Lollipop, Lollipop, Eugene wants Lollipop." We use the Lollipop as a reward if Eugene behavior well.

Eugene loves Lollipop VeRy vErY VERY much!

He's got such a cheeky grin! :p

Happy Wesak Day

Wesak is the most holy holiday on the Buddhist calendar. The exact date of Wesak is defined according to the lunar calendar, as the first full moon of May, which corresponds to the birth, enlightenment (nirvana) and the passing away (sarinirvana) of the Buddha. This year, Wesak Day was celebrated on May 28.
We celebrate our Wesk day at 'Ting Hui Ju' Buddhist Association. I took the opportunity to bath the Buddha and pray for all my family members and friends are blessed with good health and everything in life goes smoothly.

A small statue of the baby Buddha is placed upon a stand inside of a large punch bowl filled with scented, saffron water. Eugene used the ladle to pour the water over the head of the baby buddha.

A small donation has been made to contribute to the temple.
'Ting Hui Ju' Buddhist Association has set up a 'Children's Game Fair' to raise the funds for charity purpose. Daddy bought the tickets and let Eugene to participate on the game.

Eugene was having fun to play the games.
In the spirit of celebrating Wesak Day, we would like to wish all Buddhist devotees Happy wesak Day. May this Wesak Day bring happiness to all of us. Especially happy holidays is on going - Wesak day + Weekends = Awesomely spent with lurvessssss

U make Me SMILE!

A poem from a mummy to her lovely son.
You (eUgene) make me (miMEe) smile like the sun,
fall out of bed
Sing like bird,
dizzy in my head
Spin like a record,
crazy on day and night

You (eUgene) make me (miMEe) dance like a fool,
forget how to breathe
Shine like gold,
buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Oh, eUgene make miMEe smile

Eugene speaks Malay

Can you imagine a lil one and half year boy can speak Malay? The way he pronouns the Malay's word with cutie tone it really amazes me. hehehe....Yes, my lil boy communicates with our indon's maid by using Malay languages.

1) When he doesn't know on something - Eugene tanya:"Apa itu?"

2) When he cannot do on something - Eugene balas:"Tak boleh lo"

3) When he doesn't want on something - Eugene cakap:"Tak mau"; "Bukan ini"

4) When he needs help from our maid - Eugene minta:"Kakak, tolong"; "Mau"; "Sudah lo"

5) When he want to show something - Eugene cakap:"Ini ar"

Eugene can speaks quite lots of Malay words - Naik atas, Turun bawah, Angkat, Mengantuk, Kerete, Bola and etc.

Eugene will try his best to imitate our conversation; he will repeat every single word we said. We need to be careful while talking because he is watching and copying everything we do. We want to teach him to speak in polite way by using right vocabularies, right speech patterns with right phonetic pronunciations. Mummy, another milestone for you!

MILK vs YAKULT

Mummy:"Nope, Eugene not yet finish his milk, don’t waste please finish it"
Eugene:"不要, 不要...." start clinging on me

Yakult drinking time
Eugene drinking the Yakult and still has few sips in the bottle. Eugene brings up the bottle and checking how much left inside the bottle.
Eugene:"A little bit oh"
Continue to sips....
Mummy:"Okay, no more already"
Eugene checked the bottle again... :p
Eugene:"A little bit, a little bit"
Continue to sips, sips, sips.... :0)
Mummy:"Okay, finished. Please throw the bottle into the dustbin"
Eugene:"No, 还要, 还要..."

See! The different between the Milk drinking time ~不要, 不要~ and Yakult drinking time ~还要, 还要~. (-_-)

Swimming @ RPGC

I have wanted to start Eugene on swimming some months ago, but it was because we do not want to bringing him to the public pool due to hygiene issues especially with scary diseases, ie H1N1, HFMD and etc.

Finally, Hubby passes me the RPGC membership card last week where the club located at Tiger lane, Ipoh. I like the new management of the club, they control the facilities with 'No Card No Service' term means that outsiders are strictly not allowed to use the sports facilities without their membership cards.

We decided to bring Eugene have his swimming in the club last weekend. He was very excited about it. He cant wait to get into the wading pool and keep shouting there: "swimming oh, swimming oh, Eugene want swimming oh!". Mummy asked him to wait as I need to change him into swimsuit.

The height of wading pool is 0.6 feets. The water level is just perfect up to Eugene's shoulder when he is standing straight in the pool. Daddy is holding him to walk around the pool.

Eugene 1, 2, 3 Jump! Eugene was laughing and having fun during this whole swimming section.

The 'dog paddle' style. He was really have fun.
Eugene swims "freestlye". Daddy holds him lying on his stomach in the water. Eugene was waving his hands and kicking his legs to make a move forward. See the picture Eugene has his own techniques and potential to became a swimmer! kekeke....
Eugene also swims "backstroke". He lays back as opposed his stomach in the water and enjoying floating on the water.

Probably I will need to check out whether the club here have swim coach because I am planning to enroll Eugene in swim lessons. I want him to grow up comfortable with water, but also with a deep respect for it and the knowledge of swimming.

KL Trip @ Berjaya Time Square

We arrived at Berjaya Time Square Hotel at 3pm. Eugene was having fun to walk around and playing Peek-A-Boo at the hotel reception area while daddy is queuing for the check in.

We were given a spacious superior room with a comfortable living area that overlooks the city skyline. A small kitchen where fully equipped with modern amenities, a separate shower and long bath.

The 'SSOY AWARD NITE 2010' was held at Time Square Manhattan Ballroom. The dinner started late about 845pm and ended at 12am. There are few performance presented between the dinner. We did not manage to get any awards this year. :o( More affords need to given on our station in order to achieve next year award - travel to SPAIN! My man jokes at me that it’s good bed time for me to dream about my SPAIN tour. kekeke....
My lil one gives everyone a morning call in early 7am. We have been forced to wake up and get ready for our breakfast.
Pic 1: Eugene is very 'Keh Po' to press the lift down button and make the sound 'Deng' when the lift is arrived our floor.
Pic 2: Eugene is followed the instruction given by mummy - 1) need to be quiet inside the lift. 2) need to hold our hands whenever you go. 3) need to stand straight without walk around inside the lift.

Eugene has different varieties of bread for his breakfast. Eugene said: 'eat bread ar...put butter ar....eat bread oh, good hor'.

'orange juice, orange juice...' Eugene slowly sipped at his favourite orange juice.

We walked around to the facilities of the hotel - pool side and children's playground.
We were straight back to Ipoh after check out the hotel at 12pm. Although this trip was rush and short, Eugene rewarded me by behaving really well for the entire trip. When Eugene is happy, I am happy!

裕晋の趣話 1

Scenario 1:
While I'm sitting on the floor, Eugene came toward to me and then pulling down my shirt by saying "CLOSE, CLOSE"! He wants the shirt to cover his mummy's big tummy! Alamak! ***Speechless***

Scenario 2:
While we are at the bedroom with all the lights off. Mummy said good night and asked Eugene to sleep without talking. Then mummy just simply took a pillow pass it to Eugene.
Eugene answered: "Not this big one, this one Eugene 'bok bok'!" :p Eugene show his smelly 'bok bok' by putting it on my face. Mummy: "Okay, okay, u hug your 'bok bok' and sleep, sweet dream!" ***Speechless***

Scenario 3:
While we are playing at Eugene's playground. Mummy keeps passing the balls to Eugene. Eugene said: "Wah....醬多啊, 醬多啊!' ***-_-***

Scenario 4:
While we are at the living room. Suddenly our dogs keep barking outside.
Eugene spike (a very quick response) on me by saying: "公公來了? 婆婆來了? 姨姨來了?" Then he run to get the door key and wanna open the door for them to enter. ***He acted smart***

50% Diaper-free

***some parents begin going diaper-free at birth, and the infants can initiate bowel movements on cue as young as 3 to 4 months, said Elizabeth Parise, spokeswoman of DiaperFreeBaby.org.***

***Babies are born with an instinctive ability to signal when they have to answer nature’s call. Parents who practice the so-called “elimination communication” learn to read their children’s body language to help them recognize the need, and they mimic the sounds that a child associates with the bathroom.***

I feel a little embrassess after I have read the above article. It just because Eugene is already 19 months now but we still wear him diaper all the time! I wanted to train up Eugene to be a 'diaper-free' toddler. Of course, I cant imaging taking care of Eugene without diapers but at least 50% diaper-free from the day.

Well, maybe not so simple. It's actually a good amount of work, I need to track Eugene's pee time schedule and keep a little potty next to me all the time. I will always offer him to pee on 30 minute intervals. However, Eugene is refuse me everytime I ask him to pee. Few minutes later, Eugene pees on the floor. ***Aiyo***

Dont despair, times will prove that me and my boy can do it!

Toys from 婆婆

婆婆 bought some toys for Eugene from Singapore.

Pic 1: Hammer and Hamster game Pic 2: Let Go Fishing - colourful fishes and 2 fishing poles

Eugene told Daddy this 'Hammer and Hamster game" is 婆婆买的. Eugene use the hammer to hit the hamster when their head poping up. He love this game very much!
Eugene said this "Go Fishing" game is 姨姨买的. (Actually both toy is 婆婆买的, it because that time 姨姨 and 婆婆 visited him together so Eugene said one bought by 婆婆 and the other bought by 姨姨. :D )
Eugene still does not know to use the fishing pole to catch the fishes. He caught the fishes by using his hand...hahaha :p
Eugene gives 婆婆 a very big thank you KISS!
