Remote Control

Eugene is learning from us. He tries to imitate the daily work we did. Here you go one of the examples he likes to act to use the remote control to switch ON the TV. The most unbelievable is he is able to differential which remote controller to use to control the TV, DVD, ASTRO or FAN!
This remote control is use to switch ON the TV. Eugene used the remote control pointing to TV and push the button to switch ON the TV.
After that, let me power ON the DVD player. I wanna watch my video!
It is a hot day! I want to switch ON the Fan. Somemore, I simply to adjust the speed of the Fan. :p

My Favorite Video -Baby Einstein

We have bought few brands of the children's education DVD for Eugene. eg: Brainy Baby, Barney, Thomas and Friends, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Baby Genius. But Eugene really didn't seem interested in either one of them.

I noticed he likes the singing and music part of puppet, I have heard that Baby Einstein videos are good at entertaining and teaching. We purchased a Baby Einstein World Animals for him. Much to our surprise, Eugene adores it and he is became a baby-Einstein monster now! Upon in the living room he would straight to request us to open the video for him. He will sit down and watch it from beginning to end, pointing to items that catch his interest, and clapping at his favorite parts. He gets so excited when he sees the intro that he can't stand still!

Now, Eugene has baby Einstein video collection as shown picture;
1) Baby Einstein MacDonald A Day on the Farm

2) Baby Einstein Mozart Music Festival
3) Baby Einstein Bach Musical Adventure
4) Baby Einstein Newton Discovering Shapes
5) Baby Einstein Santa's Music Box
6) Baby Einstein Language Nursery
7) Baby Einstein World Animals
8) Baby Einstein Beethoven

Baby Einstein products are designed to provide parents with tools they can use to help their babies explore the world around them - music, animals, and more. Baby Einstein recommends that parents engage in responsible, supervised viewing of age and developmentally appropriate content with their babies.

We are now collecting the Baby Einstein Video collection for Eugene according to the list above. Oh...really 'Kiasu' parents!

Mozzy Kiss

Why Mr/Mrs Mozzy LOVE to kiss Eugene? Eugene has gotten a mosquito bite on his face and gets swelling.

To prevent another big big mozzy bites and leaving so many black marks on Eugene's skin....We got him a mosquito net...Hopefully, it will be better to prevent the mozzy to leave its 'footprint' on Eugene's face, foots and hands....We also bought a mosquito repellent and switch it on during the night.

Wait for my call!

Daddy bought Eugene a Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone. This phone combines three modes with fun role play. In the first mode, baby learns ABC's and in the second mode 123's by hearing them and seeing them appear on the LED. The Third mode is music mode. Eugene loves the music and lights and he will dance with it as it plays!
However, Eugene is smart enough as he knows that this is not a 'real phone'. He refuses to let us to hold the phone up to his ear. He prefers to push the buttons, listen to the music and watch the screen light up.....
Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone
Eugene is able to recognize our hand phone ring tone. Every time when either of our hand phone ringing, he will straight point to where ringing sound from.
He grab daddy's hand phone and imitating what daddy did on the hand phone before.....He will hold it up to his ear and talk and act like he is talking to 'mommy' or 'daddy' or 'grandpa/grandma'.

Dial a number that I wanna to call 1st! :0)
I hope this number can reach Mummy :p
Hello, Hello, Mushi Mushi....May I speak to Mummy?

I have too much STORY to tell mummy until I felt thirsty.
You are the next person I will call, please wait for my call. :-)

Daily Business - Poo Poo

We trained up Eugene to use the potty to do his business since he was born. We proud to say that Eugene has seldom to 'Poo' on his diaper unless unfortunate he got sick or stomach not felling well. He is a very particular need to be clean and dry on his diaper every time. He felt uncomfortable with dirty diaper and wanted us to change it.
Nowadays, Eugene knows to tell us in advance that he want to 'Poo Poo'. Sometime we can notice his facial expression and posture that he want to have a bowel movement or urinate. Eugene will keep us informed as eeggmm...eeggmm...eeggmm means that he wants to do his business. We praised him 'Good Boy' for telling us and encourage him to tell us every time when he wants to 'Poo Poo'.
Eugene daily business time is within 10am to 1pm. Although sometime he show resistance to do it but we used to practice to keep him to be seated for few minutes until he did it.

Eugene was enjoying his movie while doing his business.
Aiyo...how long I gonna to be seated until? Mummy, I am done!

How tall am I?

Everyone query to know how tall am I?
I took this height measurement while I am 11 months old! +_+
I am 75cm which means I am qualified to enter the rides! hehehe.....

Where is my 8th tooth?

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 teethes are erupted. Eh....where is my 8th tooth? According to the Teeth Eruption development Chart, the first teeth begin to break through the gums at about 6 months of age. Eruption times can vary from child to child.
1) Usually, the first two teeth to erupt are the two bottom central incisors (the two bottom front teeth). Yes, Eugene has his two bottom teeth out when he was 71/2 months old which is considered a bit slow.
2) Next, the top four front teeth emerge. Yes, Eugene has his top two front teeth out when he was 9 months old and another top two teethes are out after the next month.
3) After that, other teeth slowly begin to fill in, usually in pairs - one each side of the upper or lower jaw - until all 20 teeth (10 in the upper jaw and 10 in the lower jaw).
Currently, Eugene has filled in only one tooth on the side of lower jaw. But the facts should fill in in pairs. So where is my 8th tooth?

4D3N Singapore Trip

BACKDATED POST 09/10/09

The main purpose for the Singapore Trip is to attend our brother, Ben's BIG DAY where to be held on 10/10/09. What a unique date and it is easy to remember!

We started our journey from Ipoh around 10am. Of course, we stop over several 'R n R' along PLUS highway for some food and rest. Our fine sunny weather with clear blue skies in the afternoon ended up with very dark ominous clouds while passing by Tuas Second Link Highway. With the help of the GPRS, we are managed to find the way to our destination - National Service Resort and Country Club. NSRCC, Fully air-conditioned 2-storey bungalows with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, a pantry, as well as spacious living and dining areas, LCD flat sreen TV & a BBQ pit!. The facilities include: 24-lane championship bowling alley, Fitness Centre, Swimming Pools, Tennis and Squash Courts, Fruit Machine Room, Billiards Room, Video Games Room, Social Room, Children's Playroom, Function Room, Chinese Restaurant, Golfers' Terrace, Food Court, Music cum Karaoke Lounge, Golf & Bowling Pro-shops.

Brother has booked 2 units of bungalows (no. 19 and 20) for 2 nights stay. We arrived NSRCC in Singapore pretty late about 830pm. After settle down luggages and lazing around a bit in the bungalow then we enjoyed our BBQ for dinner.
The Bungalow outlook. The environment there is really nice and spacious.

Today is Ben and Jasmine's Wedding Day!
The wedding ceremony started at 3pm. The groom has 'rescued' the bride from bride maids (chee-mui) who locked the grilles. Glad Ben got through the obstacles without any difficulties. Once the groom has brought the bride back to his place then the next section is Tea Ceremony.

Groom and Bride with flower girls.

The wedding ceremony was simple and fabulous. All guests were then served with buffet style dinner. After all the programs have been done then we straight to enjoy the facilities in the club. So we decided to bring Eugene to have a swimming pool fun! Since this 1st time Eugene plays in swimming pool so we were more excited then him and we can't wait to change Eugene in swim suit and well prepared the swim ring for him. Lets GO!

Eugene is enjoying his 1st experience in swimming pool fun.

Today is our 3rd day in Singapore. We have extended one night stayed at 'The Far East Elizabeth Hotel' where just next to the Orchard Road. Our today plan in the itinerary was paid a visit to 'Ming Gu' then visited to Singapore Zoo.

Left Pic: In the hotel room - being a little tired, we took our sweet time to wake up. Yes, we are ready to go now!
Right Pic: We paid a visit to 'Ming Gu' and we have lunch together.

Yeah! Finally we had the opportunity to visit Singapore Zoo on this trip. The zoo is an open concept, no bars zoo where animals are kept in spacious landscaped enclosures, separated from visitors by dry or wet moats which are well concealed from visitors.

From the entrance of the zoo, you’ll be surprised at how cool and lovely the place is. Everywhere is pleasantly shady with big rain trees and the paths provide an easy walkway, even for the handicapped.

Left Pic: Roar....We are at the white tiger zone area. Right Pic: Lots of Kangaroo bouncing around the outback.

here you go, some of the animals we met.

After walking for few hours, our legs got tired. Eugene was the best as we brought along the stroller for him. But sometime he wanted us to carry him and don’t want to sit in the stroller. Eugene got to see many animals likes giraffe, lion, tiger, polar bear, monkey, etc. We were exhausted and we have not even cover 3/4 of the zoo yet. The weather was hot around 3pm so we took the opportunity to have a rest at the elephant's area watch the elephant show. We took the tram on seeing the zoo in a jiffy.

We managed to finish walking through the whole zoo by 5pm. We started at 1pm! That’s over four hours of walking. After that, we did some shopping at the souvenir shop.

A Happy Family Photo before leaving Singapore Zoo.
It was definitely an enjoyable visit and wonderful time for all of us.

Eugene was enjoyed a hot bathtub in the hotel room.

Before headed back to Malaysia, there is a the most popular tourist spots we must go is Merlion Park. The Merlion was initially designed as a symbol for the Singapore Tourism Board in the year 1964. The unique structure of the Merlion with the lion head and the body of a fish resting on a rest of waves soon became Singapore's icon for the world.

The Merlion Statue measuring 8.6 metres in height and weighing around 70 tonnes.

Beautiful views of Singapore’s colonial district when strolling in Merlion Park. Our last photo shot - Bye Bye Singapore! We are prepared to go to our next destination - Genting Highland.
