Bye Bye 2009

2009 is about to come to a close and a new year is around the corner. Everyone was discussing..."What is your plan for tonight?", "How are you going to celebrate your New Year eve?"....hmn...I will celebrate New Year eve with my lovely son as my hubby was traveled to Yogyakarta. I should say I will join the count down party together with 'Mr. Chou Gong' tonight.

A few hours into 2010 - new year, new hopes, new joys and new journey. I finally have made my new resolutions for 2010.
  • Make a weekend meal plan - cook healthy meals for my family
  • Enroll in a Japanese Language class - planning travel to Japan
  • Financial Planning - stick to our monthly expenses and save some moneys
  • Lose weight - always maintain 50kg
  • Get more active - I’m not an outdoorsy kind of gal. I’m more comfy in front of my computer. I should be more active with my family.
  • Leave work at my office - I hope I will pry myself away from work, physically and mentally. I need to be present 100% for my family.
  • Guilt-free-me-time - I hope to have more guilt free paydates with my hubby to celebrate our relationship more often.
  • Being a good Mummy - spend more time together with my sweetie son.

Beside, I need to focusing on me. I am going to buy new clothes. I’m going to exercise at least twice a week by going for a jog or walk and I am going to concentrate on eating smaller potions of healthier food. I’m going to take care of my hair and have it regularly trimmed.
Once a week I am going to have “my own sweet time” where I read a book or listen to music or take a bath, using the time to relax and de-stress. No television, no laptop, no hphone. Wow....enjoying my day!

Here's wishing everyone a New Year sparking with Happiness, Success & Joy! Happy New Year 2010!

Memorable Moments of 2009

We're getting towards the end of 2009, so time to take a look back over our shoulders and bid the year a fond farewell before we say hallo to 2010.
I am going to share my memorable moments of 2009 here.
My memorable parts of the day with you is our special "lovey-dovey" time. I love how you try to communicate with me and I usually know what you’re saying, even if no one else does. I love the way you rest your chubby cheeks beside my cheeck and the way your little hand grabs tightly on my arms. It feels like you have always been a part of our lives.

You love your Daddy dearly, I could see. You make him happy, more than I think, he ever thought you would. Your *sweet sweet* smile makes our heart burst with love! I am amazed at how you have bonded this family so much closer together. We all fight over who gets to hold you first every single morning, simply because you give us the brightest smile to start off our day!

Happiness Time with Grandma

You are 15-month-old now, but sometimes when I look at you, especially when you are sleeping, I still see my little newborn baby. Please, don’t grow up too fast, my precious little boy.I am trying my best to be the best mom I can; and I will always love you regardless of anything, ANYTHING!I love you and I will always stay by your side, ALWAYS...

Huggies Play Train

We finally collected the 100 points from Huggies diapers polybag to redeem the Huggies Play Train.
It's very light, easy to set up, just the right size for Eugene. The design is good in that it has a lot of ventilation points at the entry, exit, with windows at the front, left and right and with the roof partly covered with netting and partly uncovered at the centre.
Eugene loves it. Very bright and attractive. So far he's played with it in the following ways:
- Crawls in and out of the entry and exit places
- Plays peekaboo,
- Noticed that on 3 of the sides of the train, there were repeated patterns (the birds) but it was different on the 4th side of the train. He learns flower, bird, rainbow, star, moon, fish and bear from the train.
